Horses & Ponies need salt in their body for all their muscles and nerves to perform correctly. On average your horse requires around 10g of salt per day. However, active horses will need more sodium than less active ones due to the loss of excessive fluid through sweating.

Himalayan salt is the purest form of salt you can give your horse. Not only is it a 100% natural source of Sodium Chloride, it also contains great minerals such as calcium, zinc, iron, potassium & magnesium.
